Our Mission

Serve St. Mary’s parish and our community, help care for fellow Knights and their families, and work together to help men grow in faith and make us better men, fathers, sons, brothers, and friends. 

 



Pre-Advent Retreat – Sat Nov 2, 9:15 – 1:15, church lower level

This retreat is sponsored by the Knights but open to all men and women of the parish. We will be watching the first half of the gospel revival video series called “Rescue Project”.  Home - the RESCUE project.

40 Days for Life Closing Prayer Session – Sunday Nov 3 4PM

Parishes in the region will gather at the Bristol VA abortion clinic for prayer and reflection at 4PM on Sunday Nov 3.  The clinic is location across the street from the new Bristol Casino.  Participants can park at the Kroger shopping area which is about ¼ mile away.

Call for nominations for the Werner Spodat Father of the Year Award - presented during our annual Christmas / New Year’s Party.  Please be ready to submit your nomination at the next business meeting.

Annual Christmas/New Year’s Party – our annual Christmas party is tentatively planned for Friday Jan 10 at the American Legion Hall. 

Men’s Faith Formation – we’re looking to form a small group of men that will create a program (or several programs) to inspire all men of our parish to pursue their Catholic faith.  The Knights of Columbus offers a framework called COR (which is latin for heart).  Please see link below:

Monthly Knights Gourmet Breakfast – featuring omelets, scrambled eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, and pancakes. Spread the word: "It's not just pancakes anymore".

St. Mary’s School Auction – November 9

Please consider helping St. Mary’s School by purchasing a ticket and attending this event.  If you’re not interested in attending but would like to help with the event, there are several opportunities where the Knights typically help. 

Other Help Needed

Visit Stan Grocki – he is currently confined to his house due to medical issues.  Please

Volunteer for a weekly time slot at the Adoration Chapel

Join the rosary before the 10AM Mass or other masses.  If a group is not already established at your preferred mass, then start one.

Consider volunteering to bring someone who currently can not drive to church or to a Knight’s meeting.
